North West Patch Community Garden will be having our inaugural working bee this coming Saturday the 22nd of September.
The working bee will start at 10am and finish at 4pm and everyone is welcome.
It will take place in the North Melbourne Meat Market courtyard (please enter on Courtney st).
We will be signing up new members on the day so please come down to chat and check out what we are about.
The focus of this working bee is to put our new ModBox's together, and filling them with soil and scoria, and hopefully some of them with plants!
Children are welcome but they will need to be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
What we suggest you bring: gardening gloves, trowel, hat, sunscreen, water and food.
If you have access to a wheel barrow or long handled shovel please bring along too!
There are toilet facilities on site.
If you could please RSVP and let us know if you will be attending so we know approximate numbers.
Looking forward to seeing many of you this Saturday and meeting new members and friends!
